Emma Nelson

Emma is from Mill Creek, Washington, where she began her club soccer career with Silver Lake Soccer Club (2000-04) and finished with Snohomish United (2005-08). She played four years of varsity soccer at Archbishop Murphy High School and earned All-Cascade Conference honors during three of those seasons. As a team captain, she led the Wildcats to four top-three finishes in the state tournament. Emma recently finished her collegiate soccer career at the University of Portland as an outside back and center back, where the Pilots won WCC championships in three of her four years and made it to the NCAA tournament all four seasons. During her time as a Pilot, the team compiled a record of 70-15-3, the fourth best winning percentage of any senior class that year. Emma has experience coaching at the Bill Irwin and Garrett Smith Soccer Camps at the University of Portland, and looks forward to contributing her soccer knowledge and passion for the game to BSCP.
