Scot is a USSF "B" licensed coach and has been playing with the Portland Timbers since 2004. He played
college soccer at UCLA ('99-'02), helping lead the Bruins to a
national championship in 2002 while being named to the first-team
All-Pac 10. Upon graduation, Scot was selected 16th overall
by the LA Galaxy in the 2003 MLS SuperDraft, has had several
trials with English Premier League clubs and was also a member of
the U-23 U.S. National team. His coaching
experience includes coach/trainer at Eastside United FC, Trainer
at Pateadores FC in California, Head Coach Pacific Coast Soccer
Club Boys U-12 and Girls U-14. He is currently the Varsity
Girls coach at Oregon Episcopal School. This is his third year coaching

Coaching, Boys - Ryan Youngblood,

Ryan has been involved with soccer for over 20 years and is currently the Beaverton High School Boys Head Soccer
Coach as well as having his USSF "C" license. He comes to the Bridlemile Soccer Club from coaching for Westside Metros. In the two years spent at Westside he took a U16 boys B team to the State Cup Finals in 2006, State Cup Semi-Finals in 2007, won several local and out of state tournaments, and recently made it to the Semi-Finals at the Las Vegas College Showcase playing against top level teams in the nation. He currently coaches individual and small group training sessions throughout the Portland Metro area with various players from several different clubs. Along with coaching at a high level, Ryan is also a co-owner of Get Moving Soccer, a local soccer program created for children 3-6 years of age. Ryan’s playing experience includes being a 4-year starter at the University of Evansville in
Indiana (D-1), as well as playing professionally in the USL for the Portland Timbers in 2003, and the Utah Blitzz in 2004. He also played semi-professionally in the Premier Development League for the Cocoa Beach Expos in 2000 and 2001.

Director of Club
Development - Lori Lambert
Lori has over 10 years experience coaching soccer at the
recreational and classic levels.
She holds a USSF National D license as well as a USSF National Youth
License. She began
playing soccer at age 12 in California and continues to play in
both indoor and outdoor leagues.
Professionally, Lori has developed fitness and nutrition
programs for youth from many backgrounds and has over 10 years
experience working with children and young adults.
This is her ninth year working with BSC as a coach and
administrator. [top]
Goalkeeper Coach
- Jordan James
Jordan had a stellar collegiate career at St Lawrence (NY)
University, twice leading them to league titles and being named an
NSCAA Regional All-American in 2003 and 2004. He has been
playing professional soccer in the U.S. since 2005, becoming a
member of the Houston Dynamos of the MLS in 2007. Jordan joined
the Portland Timbers in the spring of 2008. He has an extensive
background in coaching youth soccer at clubs in New York, Ohio and
Texas and has coached collegiately at Division 1, Division 3 and
NJCAA schools. This is Jordan's second year coaching with
Bridlemile. [top]

U-14 Girls
– Danny Millan
Danny
grew up playing soccer in South America and played in
professional soccer leagues in Columbia and Bolivia as well as
semi-pro in New York. He continues to play on a local men's team
in Beaverton. Danny has a national "D" coaching
license and was one of the founding coaches for the Classics
program at BSC. He has coached high school JV teams in
Portland and Beaverton and has coached premier and classic teams
in the Portland area for the last 10 years. [top]

U-13 Girls
– Morgen Kelm
Morgen played soccer for Portland City United as a youth
where she was on multiple state champion teams. A PIL
standout at Franklin High School and went on to play
collegiately for the University of Oregon. She continues to play
soccer in women's leagues in Portland. Morgen has her
national "D" license and is in her third year coaching with
BSC. [top]
U-13 Girls
– Leon Simson
Leon is a former high school varsity and college player and
has continued to play in mens leagues in the Portland area for
more than 20 years. A USSF National "D" Licensed
coach, he has coached with Bridlemile Soccer Club for more than 7 years. His teams have played at the top level of youth soccer in
Oregon, twice reaching the State Cup finals. [top]

– Chad McHenry
An energetic, seasoned coach of over 25 teams the past decade, and avid soccer player, 30 years and counting, "Coach Chad" has a passion for inspiring kids to focus and maximize their individual skills and inner drive. He approaches coaching from a parental point of view, having three children of his own (3rd-9th grades). He holds his USSF National “D” Coaching License, coaches for the Riverdale Schools, teaches K-5 soccer,
futsal, sports fitness, speed and agility training for West Linn–Wilsonville Primary Schools, and is the founder of
Rockin' Soccer, a specialized youth soccer
development program. Past affiliations include Willamette United and Lake Oswego Soccer Clubs, as well as, Athletes in Action.

Scott Thomas
Scott grew up playing soccer in NW Portland, eventually playing
for PCU and FC Portland under Clive Charles. He played for West
Sylvan and Lincoln HS while also being selected for the Olympic
Development Program (ODP) all four years during high school. Scott
played for the University of Denver and club soccer for the University
of Oregon. He currently plays on men’s and co-ed indoor
and outdoor teams through the MAC. This is Scott’s fourth year of coaching for BSC and he holds a USSF National “D”

Johnny Schefter
Johnny grew up playing soccer in Yakima Washington for the Sun City Strikers Soccer Club. He was a member of the U-17 Solaris (Federal Way, WA) State Championship team. During his high school years he was a 3-time all Mid Valley Selection and was voted Mid-Valley player of the year. Johnny played his college soccer for the University of Washington. During college he helped coach various youth club teams in the Seattle area as well as coaching at the University of Washington Soccer Camps. He currently plays for the Thirsty Lion Pub FC
(adidas) Men's team here in Portland. Johnny began coaching with BSC in early 2008. [top]

U-15 Girls
– Tony McManus, Joe Wykowski ass't
coach
Tony is a USL First Division veteren, joining the Timbers in 2009
for his sixth professional season. He played his collegiate career
at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Tony was a
three-time All-Conference USA all-league selection. Following his
senior season in 2003, Tony, a NSCAA and Soccer Times All-American,
waqs selected to the NSCAA All-South first team and voted C-USA
Defensive Player of the YEar. His coaching experience
includes working with Chicago Soccer's U16 team, Vestavia Steamers
U16 team to Alabama State Championship in 2004 and a Region III
tournament appearance, U16 Dallas D'Feeters Soccer Club, and
Roswell Soccer Club Girls 96's and Boys 93's.
Joe is a Goalkeeper out of Colorado college,
locally playing for Westside Metros and Westview High School. He
has many years of soccer experience and is also a USSF Certified
Referee.[top]

– Lee Morrison
Lee has played five years for the Portland Timers having
previously played for the Dallas Burn of the MLS. A first team
All-American and All-Pac-10 at Stanford, he was a candidate for
the Hermann Trophy and Missouri Athletic Club NCAA Player of the
Year. Lee was a member of the U.S. U-20 National Team as well
as captain of the U.S. U-18 National team. He has been a coach
at numerous youth soccer camps and is in his fifth year of coaching
the BSC Ambush. [top]

U-16 Girls
– Ryan Pore, Jon Wilkins ass't coach
A
veteran midfielder/forward, Ryan enters his first season with the
Portland Timbers and coaching for BSC. He is a native of Ohio with
four seasons in Major League Soccer (MLS) with the Kansas City
Wizards. Ryan was a standout at the University of Tulsa, leading
the team in scoring each of his three seasons with the Golden
Hurricane. He led the nation in scoring (55 points) and goals
scored (22) as a junior in 2004. Following the 2004 season,
Ryan was one of three finalists for college soccer's prestigious
Hermann Trophy. He finished his career as Tulsa's only two-time
All-American and was named Missouri Valley Conference Player
of the Year in 2003 and 2004. Ryan tallied 51 goals and 21 assists
in 63 games at Tulsa.
Jon
is one of the top local Goalkeepers coming out of Concordia
University. A 1st team All Conference memeber out of Idaho Falls
High school, He has spent time with the Cascade surge from the USL
Premier Development League. Jon's coaching experience also
includes two years with the Colorado Rush. [top]

U-17 Girls
– Scot Thompson / Jennifer Hull,
Jason Mclaughlin, ass't coach
Jennifer
is in her first year coaching with Bridlemile. As a youth player,
she played for Nomads in Southern California, winning State Cups
in 1999, 2000, and 2001. As a collegiate starting goal keeper at
Seattle Pacific University, Jennifer was voted 2004 First Team All
Conference, First Team All West Region, Second Team All American,
3rd in NCAA lowest goals against average, and an Academic All
American with a Maters in Teaching. She current holds a USSF
"D" Coaching License.
Jason
is a new member of the Portland Timbers (and coach at BSC),
playing in his fourth year professionally. A native of Alabama, he
attended UAB with fellow Timber and BSC coach Tony McManus.
Tallying 15 goals and 13 assists through college, Jason was and
still is a potent forward leading his team in scoring during his
senior year. Jason has coached all levels of youth soccer in
Alabama and Georgia and is fluent in Japanese.[top]
