|SCOT THOMPSON ("One T") Executive Director
Scot holds his USSF National "A" license, USSF National Youth license, and is a former professional player. He played with the Portland Timbers from 2004 - 2010. He played college soccer at UCLA ('99 - 02), as captain leading the Bruins to a NCAA National Championship in 2002 while being named to the first-team All-Pac 10. Upon graduation, Scot was selected 16th overall by the LA Galaxy in the 2003 MLS SuperDraft, has had several trials with English Premier League clubs and was also a member of the U-23 U.S. National team. Scot has been named United Soccer Leagues Top 25 Players of the Decade. He is also the current Portland Timbers franchise leader in games and minutes played and in 2010 he was named the club's Community Ambassador. His coaching experience includes coach/trainer at Eastside United FC, Trainer at Pateadores FC in California, Head Coach Pacific Coast Soccer Club Boys U-12 and Girls U-14. He is currently the Varsity Girls coach at Oregon Episcopal School. During his time at OES his team has won two High School State Championships, has been selected three time Special District 1 Coach of the Year, and two time State Coach of the Year.

|Matt Dacey Technical Director | Club Development
Matt holds a USSF National 'A' License and a USSF National Youth License and has served on the Region I Boys ODP Staff, Region IV Girls ODP Staff as well as the State ODP and Coaching Education staffs for three state associations. Matt has coached in the US Soccer Development Academy and Elite Clubs National League. Prior to Portland, Matt served as the Director of Player Development for the Virginia Rush Soccer Club, where he oversaw numerous programs, including the College Advisory Program that, in 6 years, sent over 180 graduates on to play in college at all levels. Matt has coached in Germany, Slovakia, Austria and the Czech Republic.(Top)
|RYAN YOUNGBLOOD Technical Director | Player Development
Ryan holds his USSF National "A" license, USSF National Youth license, and is a former professional player. He played his college soccer for the University of Evansville (Division 1, Missouri Valley Conference). While in school he spent his summers playing in the USL Premier Development League for the Cocoa Beach Expos (Flordia). After earning his Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications he went on to play professionally in the USL 1st & 2nd Division (Portland & Salt Lake City). Along with coaching at BSC Portland, Ryan is currently the Beaverton High School Boys Head Soccer Coach. Since he started coaching in Oregon he has coached teams to the OSAA High School 6A State Finals, OYSA State Cup Finals, and has won several local and out of state tournaments. He also coaches individual and small group training sessions throughout the Portland Metro area. Ryan was selected as the 2009 & 2013 Metro League Coach of the year. (Top)
|Laura Schott BSC Portland | Senior Academy Director
Laura played college soccer at UC Berkeley where the team made the NCAA playoffs each year. She was a Hermann Trophy Candidate, All-American, and is currently the school's all-time leading goal scorer. She played with the US Women's National Team, and won a National Championship in 2003 in the first women's professional league in the US. After playing internationally, including in the UEFA Champions League, she transitioned into coaching.
She is currently the Head Coach for Portland State University. In the last five years they have won four Big Sky Conference Championships, had 49 all conference players, and 7 Conference Players of the Year. Laura is PSU's all-time winningest coach by win percentage and by number of wins. In 2013 they finished higher in the RPI (the national ranking) than all Oregon schools except for UP, and they were undefeated in conference play (9-0-2).
Outside of college coaching Laura has directed club programs throughout northern California and Oregon. Her involvement with club soccer has spanned over 10 years with periodic stoppages to give increased time and attention to a growing collegiate program.

|Justan Wolvert BSC Portland | Junior Academy Director
Justan currently holds his USSF National "C" Coaching License. He played college soccer for Concordia University where he was an All Conference, All Region, and All American player. For the past 11 years he has coached for the Eastside Timbers acting as the Girls Director of Coaching, Director of Player Development, and the Director of the Adistars Program. Outside of coaching for the Eastside Timbers he coached 5 years at Barlow High School as the Girls Head Coach, 4 years at Hudson Bay High School as the Boys Head Coach, and 2 years as the Eastside Regional Training Center Assistant Director. Along with coaching, Justan currently works for Barlow High School as an Education Assistant in Special Education.
Justan's primary role is to oversee players pools U12-U14 and make sure curriculum and training are consistent through all players. His priority focus will be on working with the Gold and White teams throughout the club and expanding the club's philosophy on a higher licensed coach overseeing each age group. (Top)
|JON WILKINS Development Academy & GK Director
Jon currently holds his USSF National "B" License and NSCAA Level 3 GK Diploma. Jon has been involved with soccer for 20 years. He grew up playing soccer in Idaho Falls, ID where he was was a standout goal keeper being twice recognized as an All Conference player for his High School team. He went onto play college soccer at Colorado Christian University where he had the 2nd highest saves rating in the nation his sophomore year. During his time in Colorado he served as a staff coach for the Colorado Rush Soccer Club. Jon ended up transferring to Concordia University in Portland, OR where he finished up his college career. While playing for Concordia he spent his summers playing in the USL Premier Development league (USL-PDL) for the Cascade Surge. Along with coaching at BSC Portland, Jon is the Girls Head Varsity Coach at Beaverton High School. (Top)
|M-J Tate BSC Newberg
| Director of Coaching
M-J is a USSF National "A" licensed coach and former professional player. From 1987-1998 he played with Southampton FC, Cardiff City FC, Supersport Utd FC, and Randburg FC. In 1999, M-J moved to the States to finish his professional career with the Utah Blitzz through 2001. His coaching experience extends from the youth to the pro arena including the BU17 Malta National Team, ODP, Region IV, State & National Trainee Staff Instructor. He was the assistant/player coach in the USL and Head Coach in the WPSL. M-J's teams continue to win in numerous prestigious tournaments, state cups, regionals, national championships, world youth champions, division & conference championships. M-J is proud of developing players who have a winning mentality that go on and play at the next level be it in college or in the pros. (Top)
|Nicole Strong Head Technical Trainer
Nicole comes to BSC Portland after four years as Assistant Coach of the University of Oregon women's soccer team. Nicole holds a USSF National "A" Coaching License and currently captains the BSC Portland Rain of the Women's Premier Soccer League. While coaching at Oregon, Nicole helped the Ducks to 2nd place in the Pac-10, the best finish in school history, for a program that earned Pac-10 Player and Coach of the Year honors. As a player at Washington State and Iowa State, Nicole was named Pac-10 Medal Winner her senior year as WSU's most outstanding female student-athlete, was an All-Pac-10 and All-Big 12 selection on the field and in the classroom all four years, and led her team in scoring all four years. Nicole has also served on the coaching staff of the Region IV Olympic Development Program, Oregon ODP, Columbia Premier Soccer Club, and the academy and youth development program at Lake Oswego Soccer Club. Nicole has been with BSC Portland since June of 2009.
