Recreational Program Volunteer Positions

All volunteering is encouraged, however you can opt out of volunteering by paying an additional $25.00 fee. Please indicate so on your registration form. The following volunteer positions are available:

Team Head Coach -- Teach appropriate soccer skills to a group of young players with emphasis on team building and fun. Coordinate parental volunteer activities for the team. Age-based coaching clinics (required for new coaches) are available to help coaches learn how to teach soccer skills to young players.

Assistant Coach -- Help the coach teach skills and team building. For first and second grade teams, coach half the team during games.

Team Parent -- Coordinate Team volunteer activities, including: snacks, team party, awards, phone tree. Assist the coach in communicating with parents and players.

BSC Executive Board -- Volunteer to be Secretary / Volunteer Coordinator, PYSA Representative, Registrar, President, or Treasurer.

Assistant Registrar -- In the fall, notify and signup players (at one grade level) for indoor soccer, assist with team formation.

Club Volunteer Positions -- You can be Equipment Manager, Uniform Manager, Soccer Day Coordinator, Shoe / Jersey Exchange Coordinator or Webmaster.

Soccer Sunday Shift -- Assist with setup, food sales or cleanup on Soccer Day.
